Terms of service

Last updated 10 October 2026 · Biscuit Systems, MB

These terms are the agreement between you and Biscuit Systems, MB, which builds and runs Petĩra. They apply from the moment you create a workspace. They are written to be read, not to hide anything, so if a sentence is unclear, ask us at [email protected] and we will explain or fix it.

1. What Petĩra is

Petĩra is a hosted feedback board, roadmap and changelog. You get a workspace with one or more boards. Your users post ideas and vote on them, you set a status on each idea, and everyone who voted is told when it ships. Boards can be embedded in your own product with a small widget.

2. A young product

Petĩra is a young product run by a small company. Features will change, some will be rough, and occasionally something will break. We do not promise a particular uptime or response time; the status page shows how we are doing. We do promise that your data is yours, that you can export it at any time, and that we will tell you before we change anything that affects what you pay.

3. Your account

You need an account to run a workspace. You sign in with Google or with a link we email you; there is no password to look after. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your email inbox secure. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, and if you sign up for a company you confirm you are allowed to bind it to these terms.

4. Your content and your users' content

Everything posted on your boards, by you or by your users, belongs to you or to whoever wrote it. It never belongs to us. You give us permission to store it, display it on your board and in your widget, send it in the emails the product sends, and make backups of it. That permission ends when the content or the workspace is deleted.

You are the one running the board, so you decide what stays on it. You are responsible for moderating what your users post and for having the right to publish what you post. We give you the tools: a moderation queue, verified email to post, and the ability to edit or remove anything on your board.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Petĩra to:

  • Publish anything unlawful, defamatory, or infringing someone else's rights.
  • Harass people, or collect personal data you have no lawful basis to collect.
  • Send spam, or use the notification emails to reach people who did not opt in.
  • Probe, overload or interfere with the service or other people's workspaces.
  • Resell access to the service, or represent it as your own product.

If a board is used this way we may take it offline and, in serious cases, close the workspace. We will tell you why, unless the law prevents us.

6. Plans and payment

Every workspace starts on the Free plan, which has no time limit. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly, in euros, and the prices on the pricing page exclude VAT where it applies. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it.

Payments are handled by Creem, our merchant of record. When you buy a paid plan you buy it from Creem, which charges you, issues the invoice and handles VAT for your country. We never see or store your card details.

If a payment fails, your workspace keeps its plan for 7 days while the payment is retried. After that it drops to Free. Nothing is deleted: boards beyond the Free limit stay as they are, and come back the moment the plan is paid again.

We may change prices for new subscriptions at any time. The price you signed up at stays yours for as long as you keep the subscription. Refunds and cancellation are covered by the refund policy.

7. Leaving

You can cancel a paid plan from Settings at any time. The plan runs until the end of the period you paid for, then the workspace drops to Free. You can export everything on your boards as JSON and CSV at any time, on any plan, and you can delete the whole workspace yourself from Settings. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

8. Our software

Petĩra, its design, its code and the widget are ours. We give you a licence to use the service and to embed the widget on sites you control for as long as you have a workspace. You may not copy, modify or reverse-engineer the service, except where the law says you can.

9. Privacy

How we handle personal data, both yours and your users', is set out in the privacy policy. For the content of your boards you are the controller and we are your processor, under the data processing agreement, which is part of these terms on every plan, including Free.

10. No warranty, limited liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or lost data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or the rights you have as a consumer where you live.

11. Ending the agreement

You end it by deleting your workspace. We may end it if you break these terms, if the workspace has been on Free and untouched for over a year, or if we shut the service down. In the last two cases we will email you at least 30 days beforehand so you can export your data.

12. Changes to these terms

We will change these terms as the product grows. Small clarifications take effect when they are published here. Changes that affect your rights or what you pay are emailed to workspace owners at least 14 days before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Lithuania. Disputes go to the courts of Lithuania, unless you are a consumer in the European Union, in which case you may also use the courts of your own country. Before either, write to us: most things can be sorted out by email.
