I compared the pricing of 12 feedback tools in 2026
We read the pricing pages of twelve feedback and feature-request tools and put the results in one table. Every price below was checked on the vendor's own pricing page in October 2026. Prices drift, plans get renamed and free tiers get trimmed, so treat the numbers as a snapshot and click through before you buy. The Sources list at the end gives each page and the date it was read.
Petĩra is one of the rows, and we sell one of these products, so read our row with that in mind. We have tried to describe the others the way their own pages describe them, including where they are clearly the better fit.
A note on currency: the other vendors price in US dollars, Petĩra in euros. We have not converted anything. Prices are per month as shown, and where a vendor only shows a yearly-billed price we say so.

What the table shows
Four patterns come out of it.
Only Canny charges for the audience directly. Its own page defines a tracked user as anyone associated with feedback: someone who posts, votes or comments. The free tier covers 25 of them. Canny offers a spend limit, which stops upgrades from happening automatically, and that is a useful control. It does not change the shape of the model.
Several tools charge for your team instead. Featurebase, ProductLift and FeatureOS meter seats or admins. Featurebase's page now describes a combined helpdesk and feedback product, and its feedback features sit inside the same per-seat subscription. Sleekplan's Starter plan includes three seats and Frill advertises unlimited admins on all paid tiers, so the picture is mixed.
Many tools are flat but cap something else. UserJot, Upvoty, Supahub and Petĩra do not count your voters. UserJot says it outright: every plan, including Free, has unlimited users and unlimited posts, and you pay for features such as a custom domain or private boards. Its free tier is the most generous in this comparison for a team that only needs a board, and if that is you, start there or with ours. Upvoty also lists unlimited tracked users on every plan.
Two tools sell by quote. Productboard and UserVoice do not publish a price. Productboard prices by maker and AI credit. UserVoice says plans are based on feedback volume, tools and integrations, never by seat. Both are built for larger organisations than most readers of this post.
What the models mean for a growing product
A pricing model is a statement about which number the vendor expects to grow. There are really three.
If the meter is your audience, the bill follows the success of the board. You get more votes, you move up a band. The incentive is to keep the audience small or unidentified, which is the opposite of why you installed the board.
If the meter is your team, the bill follows your headcount. That is predictable and closer to how most software is bought. It becomes a problem when the board is something you want the whole company to read, because every extra reader is a line item.
If the meter is capability, the bill follows decisions you make: how many boards, whether one is private, which integrations you turn on. That tracks your needs and nothing your users do. The price you pay for it is that you hit a feature wall instead of a usage wall, so check which features sit behind which plan.
A worked example: 100 to 2,000 active voters
Take a small SaaS with a three-person team and one public board. In January it has 100 active voters. By December it has 2,000, because the widget works. We assume it needs one board, three seats, and no private board or SSO. Every price is from the vendor page, billed yearly where that is the only price shown, in the vendor's own currency.
| Tool | Voters: 100 | Voters: 2,000 | Arithmetic and assumptions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Canny | $79 or more | Higher than $79, exact figure not published | Pro starts at $79 for 100+ tracked users. The page shows no bands, so we cannot give the December number |
| Featurebase | $87 | $87 | 3 seats x $29. Voters do not change it |
| UserJot | $29 | $29 | Starter. Users are unlimited and so are team members on Starter |
| Frill | $25 | $49 | Startup caps at 50 active ideas. We assume 2,000 voters push past that and move to Business |
| Sleekplan | $13 | $38 | Starter has 2,000 emails and 5,000 popup views a month. We assume 2,000 voters exceed them and move to Business |
| Upvoty | $25 | $25 | Super plan. Tracked users are unlimited |
| Fider (hosted) | $25 | $25 | Pro. The free tier caps feedback at 250 items a month, which a board this busy would pass; Pro shows no such cap |
| Supahub | $15 | $15 | Billed yearly, 2 boards and 2 admins included; end users are unlimited |
| ProductLift | $44 | $44 | Starter includes 2 admins, so 1 extra at $15: $29 + $15 |
| FeatureOS | $60 | $60 | Starter includes 5 seats and 5 boards |
| Petĩra | €19 | €19 | Pro. Voters and seats are unlimited |
Three of those rows move, and for the reasons you would guess: Canny because of the audience, Frill and Sleekplan because of caps on ideas, emails and views. The rest do not move with voters at all. They simply start at different prices, which is a different question: UserJot at $29 and Petĩra at €19 are cheap for this team, Featurebase and FeatureOS are not, and the gap is mostly about how many seats are included.
The Frill and Sleekplan December figures are our reading of where a busy board would land, not something their pages promise. The only number we are sure moves is Canny's, and its size is the one number we could not read.
When per-seat or per-tracked-user pricing is fine
Both models are fair in the right place.
Per-seat pricing is right when each seat produces work: a support team answering tickets, or a product team triaging in a tool they live in all day. Featurebase's combined helpdesk and feedback tool fits that, and so does Productboard for a product organisation with a dedicated set of makers.
Per-tracked-user pricing is right when feedback is rare and valuable. If you have a B2B product with 60 customers and each one's request is worth real money, 25 free tracked users and a $79 plan are not a burden. The bill only hurts when the audience is large and each voter is worth little.
Quote-based pricing is right when you need what comes with it: SSO, CRM integrations, a security review, a named contact. If that list is yours, a published price would not have helped you anyway.
Why Petĩra is flat rate
We built Petĩra for small SaaS teams whose board is a board. The widget identifies every user with a signed handoff so voting is one click, and that only makes sense if the identified user is not the meter. So the meter is capability: one board on Free, ten on Pro at €19 a month or €190 a year, unlimited boards on Team at €49 a month or €490 a year, with Slack, Discord and GitHub integrations and the audit log. Ideas, votes and voters are unlimited on every plan, and nothing is charged per seat.
That is also why we think the honest advice, if you need a bigger product, is to buy one. If you need call transcription, CRM revenue attribution or a sales-led rollout, the quote-based tools have built it. If you need a board, a roadmap and a changelog that does not notice how popular it is, ours is public and the free plan is free for as long as you like.
